CNC trademark officially recognized as the 4th wellknown trademark in China's industrial electrical appliance industry and the 13th wellknown trademark in Wenzhou. CNC soft starters from Great Wall Electric Group ranked as one of the top ten wellknown motor soft starters in China, ranking second nationwide and first in the province.

Great Wall Electric Group Chairman Ye Xiangyao was invited by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade to accompany President Hu Jintao to the 13th APEC Business Leaders' Summit in Busan, South Korea. At the invitation of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), President Ye Xiangtao visited four countries in South Asia and West Africa (Pakistan, Ghana, Nigeria, and Cameroon) to conduct onsite inspections for the group's global strategy and international development. President Ye Xiangtao was invited to attend the "Fourth Diplomat's Spring and SinoForeign Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum" held at the Great Hall of the People, attended by over 350 participants, including envoys from about 120 countries, former Chinese diplomats, representatives of international organizations in China, and entrepreneurs.

Great Wall Electric Group Chairman Ye Xiangyao accompanied President Hu Jintao to attend the APEC meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam.

CNC brand was recommended as an export brand by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products.

CNC was recognized as a "Zhejiang Export Famous Brand" by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. The CNC trademark was selected as one of the "30 Major Brands in Wenzhou" in a selection event jointly organized by the Wenzhou Administration for Industry and Commerce and the Wenzhou Brand Association to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the reform and opening up. 2004 Nobel Laureate in Economics, Professor Edward Prescott, and his wife visited Great Wall Electric Group, one of the pioneers of the Wenzhou Model.

CNC retained its position among the top 500 Chinese machinery companies, ranking 25th with a high score of 94.5002. CNC trademark was judicially recognized as a "wellknown trademark."
